Everyone has generously donated pieces to be displayed for barter or purchase the night of the opening, more on that in the press release below. This time of year is always so crazy, it’s really nice to attempt something good in the midst of all the chaos.

PRESS RELEASE:
Thanky is pleased to present the second installment of everyone’s favorite food trade for art: Foodist Colony!Clean out your pantry and bring your non-perishables for bartering during the opening reception on December 5th. Up for grabs in the trading post will be work by more than 30 artists. Special consideration will be given to high protein and organic donations.

Last year we were able to raise over 300 pounds of food. With your support we can exceed that number this year! Use this opportunty to give back to your commmunity and support artists that have that same goal in mind. Like last year, all donations will benefit the Central Virginia Food Bank.
